Top 5 Remedial Applications of Apple Cider Vinegar

There are many household items which do wonders for your health and beauty, you just need to know about them first!

The popularity of holistic and DIY skin care, health remedies, and other home and beauty fixes is on the rise, and when you think about the cost and time spent, it’s no wonder!

If you’ve heard anything about apple cider vinegar, you’ll know that it has a lot more to it than simply being something you add to your food. This wonder vinegar has many other benefits, and you can use it to aid your overall health and wellbeing, as well as your appearance.

If you’re still not sure, let’s check out the top five remedial applications of apple cider vinegar, and talk about how it can help you.

Apple Cider Vinegar Promotes a Healthy Digestive System

There has been a lot of noise about the fact that apple cider vinegar can help with weight loss, and that is true, when it is used in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise. Aside from that however, apple cider vinegar is very useful in gastric and digestive issues overall.

It can help to lower glucose levels, which can be useful for those suffering with diabetes, helps to boost weight loss efforts, promotes a healthy and smooth digestive system, reduces gas and any bloating you might be experiencing, can relieve heartburn symptoms, cleanses out the lymph nodes, stimulates circulation, and it can rid the body of candida too – that’s aside from helping your stomach to work more harmoniously!

For these issues, apple cider vinegar needs to be ingested. Don’t just drink it though! Mix one or two tablespoons of the vinegar into bottled or filtered water and drink. You can add a little raw honey if you want to improve the taste a little too.

Apple Cider Vinegar is Very Useful For Conquering Dandruff

Dandruff is annoying, embarrassing, and in some cases, very itchy. You can use apple cider vinegar as a home use, to help rid yourself of the condition, and avoid that annoying white fleck problem, especially when you’re wearing a black top!

Apple cider vinegar has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, so not only does it sooth an itchy scalp, it fights bacteria and fungus too. Of course, dandruff isn’t harmful per se, but it is annoying. It is a skin condition which is caused by an over production of oil (sebum) on the scalp. When this happens, the oil dries up and clumps, sticking to the roots of the hair. It’s super-common, and nothing to worry about, but it is something which is best treated, before it becomes stubborn and harder to get rid off!

To treat dandruff with apple cider vinegar, you simply wash your hair the normal way and rinse, before adding a little vinegar and massaging it into your scalp. Leave it for an hour and then wash out very well. Your hair will be super shiny and soft at the same time!

Apple Cider Vinegar Can Be Used as a Skincare Toner

Another common use is as a DIY skincare toner. We mentioned the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of the vinegar, and this works fantastic on the skin. If you use this regularly, you will also see a reduction in age spots, and a lightening and eventual disappearance of acne scars too.

The vinegar helps to balance up the skin’s pH, which is ideal for giving you an even and youthful glow. All you need to do is mix one part of the apple cider vinegar with two parts of water and combine well. Dab it onto your skin with a cotton wool bud, and then rinse it off. Use regularly for the best results.

Apple Cider Vinegar Can be Used as a Natural Teeth Whitener

There are many things which can turn your teeth a slightly yellow or grey shade, from the things you eat and drink, to a smoking habit. Some people don’t care too much about it, but others are very bothered about their smile. If this is you, you don’t need to head off to the dentist for expensive teeth whitening procedures, you can use apple cider vinegar at home instead!

All you need to do is dab a little of the vinegar onto your teeth, rub in well, and then rinse equally as well. Do this regularly and you’ll notice a difference over a short amount of time.

Apple Cider Vinegar Can Be Used For Wart Removal

If you have a small and annoying wart, which has been checked out by a doctor and isn’t anything to worry about, you can use apple cider vinegar at home in a holistic manner, to get rid of the offending wart.

This has long been a successful route to wart removal, and although it can take a little time, it is worth it for the end result. All you need to do is soak a cotton wool ball in apple cider vinegar and place it directly over the wart. You need to press it down quite well. Place a bandage over the top, to hold it in place and leave it overnight. You will need to repeat this procedure on a daily basis, until the wart eventually falls off. Once it does, continue with the procedure for two more days afterwards, to help heal the area.

As you can see, apple cider vinegar has got a whole host of uses! Remember to check out any concerning health problems with a doctor before you resort to home remedies, but overall, apple cider vinegar is a safe and effective way to treat several mild conditions.
