Flow with Grace

Sat Tony SamaraWhen you meditate and you are present to more than the linear dimension of what the mind judges or sees as reality, if you are present to the moment, then that moment is eternal and infinite in its nature and there is no delay to get anywhere because there is nowhere to get to.

If you know this, not as an abstract thought but as a reality and feeling, and as a reality in the body, as a reality in the experience of the gift, the gift of being alive, then a celebration of the infinity that is present to the heart becomes so much more than we can imagine.

It is almost indescribable to put such in words, as it creates a limitation in itself. The presence to ones heart, or the Beloved, is the gift that we can savor and experience as something more than me or I, or the ego wanting to understand or hold onto the aspect that it believes is beyond itself.

Beyond oneself is oneself. Oneself is complete in the being and in the presence of all that is, rather than what one thinks is or should be like or needs to be like, and so then time is beautiful. Time is a dance or a musical tune that has no beginning and no end that just creates a momentum, a vibration that allows for life to be experienced, to be alive, to really be alive.

  • Is anyone alive at this moment?
  • Are you alive to your experience?
  • Are you alive to the breath?
  • Are you alive to what is, rather than what you think is?

That is the question that we need to challenge our experience and our thinking and our emotions with. The challenge is to remind oneself that there is more and the more is indescribable. The more is an experience and knowing there is more and inviting that experience into being, into the being that you are is what meditation truly is.

To come back to this beautiful space, a space that is you, the perfect within yourself is not so difficult. All you have to do is come back to the vibration in the body, the vibration in the mind, the vibration in the emotional aspect of yourself. Here the vibration is like a tune and even if you can’t hear, even if in this moment you are still a little bit lost and you don’t really understand, even if in this moment the mind is trying to understand and is somewhere else, trying to understand that which is being transmitted, even then the tune is still playing, the vibration is still moving, life is still unfolding as a gift,  but you – the depth of who you are – appreciates such, even without knowing.

It is almost like a movement of breath in your body. Even if you don’t know that you are breathing, your body appreciates that you are breathing. It keeps you alive, it keeps you here manifested in this dimension of existence. Even if you don’t understand that the breath is important, it is.

Breathing in and breathing out…no matter what you think, no matter what you feel, no matter what your body says, know that the breath is infinite. It has no beginning. The flow begins beyond the first breath that you take and the breath continues beyond the last breath that you take. It is a flow and it has always been there. It is just that the physical body recognises and manifests itself within this dimension here and breathes as you are now.

It is almost like the first breath and as you breathe in, that which has always been there connects you to the breath and then you understand what is before the beginning and what is before the first breath that you take. Then you understand that which is after the last breath that you take. You understand the flow, the cycle, the tune and that which is creating the tune.

The creative potential that is within the breath is the creative potential that is the unified field of consciousness that allows for all existence to manifest here in this present moment. And you in this moment are just seeing a glimpse of what is there, what is present.

As you breathe in and breathe out that glimpse that you capture through your mind, through the senses, is just a mere fraction of the existence of reality. As you breathe in and breathe out, even if you see a little bit deeper, your intuition and subtle senses connect to that which is a mere fraction of existence.

Existence is multidimensional. Existence is expansive, it is beyond the possibility of understanding through glimpsing aspects of existence. It is the wholeness that when in touch with this wholeness inside of yourself, inside of the microcosm, the little within yourself, then you are open to the flow that is all and everything. The little picture that becomes whole within yourself allows for the big picture to be complete and understandable.

This is knowledge. This is wisdom and when you are in touch and listening to the tune that your heart is singing, the music that is everywhere through all manifestation, then that tunes gives you an understanding that this is knowledge, wisdom and understanding of everything. You understand. Your whole being understands and then there is appreciation that life is beautiful and that everything is perfect. Everything is as it should be. There is no need, there is no desire because there is no space for such. In perfection all is complete.

As you breathe in and breathe out, don’t even try breathing in and breathing out, simply enjoy the breath. Enjoy relaxing the body, enjoy relaxing the mind, enjoy relaxing your whole being and just be the breath.

As you let go, as you let go of all those things that seem important, as you come back here to this beautiful perfect moment – just be. Allow your being to expand into the perfection that is not you as an individual but everything – the whole, the completeness, the oneness that is the Beloved.

As you merge into completion, into space of unity then the Beloved is no longer an aspect that you need to search for or that you desire. Your heart melts into the same song, the same oneness that is the potential that is the Divine, that is the Beloved, that is your essence.

As you breathe in and breathe out, let go. Let go of the struggle, let go of all those aspects that manifest themselves around the struggle of doing, trying, wanting and just allow the breath to flow through your body, through your being.

The breath is such a beautiful breath. Just imagine the breath as the flow in the universe, the flow between the stars, the flow between the planets and the universe, the flow in all existence, the flow between the molecules, the flow between the little particles that are beyond the molecular structure, the flow that is in everything. Just imagine the flow as a movement, as if the breath flowing into the abdomen, into the chest, is a movement carrying you to the space, to the depth that is joyous, that is free, that is so beautiful that there is no need to even create an idea about what the flow is. The flow is you.

As you breathe in and breathe out, embrace not from your mind, not from your feelings, but embrace from this depth where you merge into the flow, you merge into the movement. The movement deep within the universe is the movement that touches your heart and moves you to transcend to a higher level of consciousness, beyond the karma, beyond the forces of karma and beyond the forces of the mind.

As you move and are touched by this flow, as you move to the space that is beyond dualism, beyond this or that, as you move and embrace the reality of who you are, the flow carries you deeper and deeper and then there is nothing. No labels, no forms, no pictures, rather there is just the joy of listening, of being. And you are listening to this beautiful flow without listening through your ears, without listening through your mind, just listening as the vibration touches the depth of your being. The vibration moves every cell in your body, the breath communicates directly to itself and the breath moves through its own movement.

As you breathe in and breathe out, then there is no need to even focus on the breath, as the breath is flowing. All is flowing.

As you continue on the spiritual practice, as you continue working with your karma yoga, as you continue coming home back to the beloved, back to the depth of your heart you continue realising that you are perfect. As you continue on the spiritual path to be in touch with wisdom, to be in touch with knowledge, appreciate and honour these moments.

Spiritual practice is a gift, it is not an obligation or a work, it is a gift that can be appreciated in many different ways in your unique way and you can appreciate it in your own very special way and you know how to do this.

Understand that the flow sometimes is strong, but that intensity and strength of vibration can be beautiful and when you embrace it from the flow of your being then there is no struggle, there is no needing to find a peaceful space beyond that experience as the flow is your essence, the flow is beyond the stresses of the mind.

As you breathe in and breathe out, take a few moments throughout your day to just remember.
