The New Paradigm

Anthony AltmanAccording to Western Astrology, we have just emerged from the Piscean age, which was a 2,000 year period, where the general characteristics were; extreme competition, greed, avarice, violence, ego-mania, control, aggression, and war. Of course, there were also positive traits, but the lessons that were to be learned by humanity centered around the negative traits. Now we enter the Aquarian age, which is also a 2,000 year period, but this time the main traits are the positive benefits for humanity as a whole. For this to happen, individuals are to reflect this new paradigm, for whatever individuals reflect, so does our society. It is the Universal law of ‘As above, so below,’ or ‘As within, so it is without.’

Science has now provided us with new information that changes the old information. We are not separate entities fighting for survival. Instead, we are united entities that make up a whole, and the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Science has proven this with the God particle from Higgs Bosun, Fractal and String theories, to name a few. The particle collider in Cerne, Switzerland has proven that what happens here, affects what happens there. Our thoughts, words and actions affect our immediate environment, and like all energy, emanates throughout space. What we put out is what we get back is the new paradigm. When we choose to contribute whatever we can, to the whole, everyone receives, including us. The old paradigm of what can I get, what can they give me, has come and gone, and the question is whether we have learned the valuable lesson from this attitude, that has caused us untold suffering. Do we want to be free from suffering? Yes! Then, let us change what we have been doing, because that created the suffering we no longer want, and replace that with something new. This New Paradigm is all about finding your joy and doing that, without wanting something back. Let the impetus be on what is your joy, and what is required by others, and provide that in joy, for the sake of doing it. Three things happen spontaneously;

  1. If you do your joy, it is not work.
  2. Others benefit from your contribution.
  3. You benefit, because you are enjoying your work, and others do so also, and money comes by itself, as a natural result of the endeavor.

How many are willing to make this change? How many are willing to learn from the old bitter experiences of working at something they hated just for the money. How many will seek and find what they are good at, what is their joy, and do so in joy. Joseph Campbell told us many years ago, “Follow Your Bliss.” He was a seer, second to none.

There is much for each of us to learn as we navigate these changing times. Those who do learn, will avoid the stormy seas, and they will find solace in the calm, the joy and the prosperous abundance that results from flowing with the river of life, rather than swimming against the current.

I lift my glass and toast us all, who have arrived at this historic point of positive change. Let us use our well-earned wisdom, and choose wisely, the course of our destiny.
