Sickle Cell Anaemia
The treatment is often a problem!
I received an email the other day where a kind friend had made the link between a poor lady who suffers from Sickle Cell Anaemia and me because, the sufferer says “the drugs they give me make me feel so bad. I want to find an alternative”. Luckily for her, there is an alternative which, so the few clinical results show, is also more effective than any chemical drug, though the research is thin on the ground.
What is Sickle Cell Anaemia? According to the NHS “Sickle cell disease is the name for a group of inherited conditions that affect the red blood cells. The most serious type is called sickle cell anaemia. Sickle cell disease mainly affects people of African, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, Eastern Mediterranean and Asian origin. In the UK, it’s particularly common in people with an African or Caribbean family background.”
People with sickle cell disease produce unusually shaped red blood cells that can cause problems because they don’t live as long as healthy blood cells and they can become stuck in blood vessels. SCA can be inherited if both parents, whether as sufferers or just carriers, have it in the family; so, it can arrive “out of the blue”. The advice on how to treat SCA using conventional medical treatment is not too wonderful other than strong drugs, paracetamol for the pain, and finally, but this carries a greater risk, a bone marrow transplant.
There is an information and reference service which may be of benefit. This is the National Congenital Anomaly and Rare Diseases Registration Service. However, as Mother Nature always has an option to all of her problems, if mankind takes the trouble to look into it, the very much overlooked Curcumin appears to be one possible solution where SCA is concerned. The American Library of Biomedical Information, NCBI, tells us that “Curcumin, the active ingredient in the traditional herbal remedy and dietary spice turmeric, is a free radical scavenger and hydrogen donor and exhibits both pro- and anti-oxidant activity. It is remarkably nontoxic and exhibits limited bioavailability. Curcumin exhibits great promise as a therapeutic agent and is currently in human clinical trials for a variety of conditions, including multiple myeloma, pancreatic cancer, myelodysplastic syndromes, colon cancer, psoriasis and AD ». This article is old; much research on Curcumin has taken place since 2009 which confirms all the suggestions implied in this paper. In another paper, the world’s leading authority on Curcumin, Dr.B.B.Aggarwal states that “there is no cancer that cannot be cured by the use of Curcumin”. This may not apply for everybody but it does for around 90% of people. I have made a short video, which is a précis of a lecture by Dr. Aggarwal, which explains more.
The chemical route for any cancer is more often than not very painful. The success rate from chemicals, according to various studies, is in low single figures. The 90% chance from Curcumin seems less painful, less poisonous and more attractive to me. Curcumin99™, the purest form of the natural remedy available, which is used throughout the world, is at work for thousands of people. Let it work for you.
