I think I fell in love with it since I opened my eyes, because I can remember since ever that I always looked at the sky, the clouds, the light refracting through the clouds at different times of the day, in different seasons and in different parts of the world. I always liked the thought of flying too. My first flying experience was when I was 16 years old and I flew from Milan to UK to go to Cambridge for a summer language course.
To these days I still remember my ecstasy when the plane taxied on the runway and took off, I never felt something so exhilarating in my life! It was an orgasmic sensation to say the least, but I was still too young back then to know this.
My love affair with planes had started.
During my teenage years I put a poster of a Tornado fighter in my wardrobe and I remember dreaming of flying in one of those every single time I would open my wardrobe door. Flying was always in my goal list, but I never went for it.
I always thought that one day I would do it …
In September 2008 I was going through a very difficult period in my life, I was reconsidering everything I had done so far after I came back from my travels in South America and Antarctica and felt completely flat out! I was sitting in the kitchen one morning with my head in the clouds and then all of a sudden it struck me like lightning: I call myself ‘Flying Inspiration’, when was I going to fly and become a real pilot?
Since that moment of realisation a whole series of synchronicities started to happen without any apparent active action on my part! Four days later I was flying in a double seater plane above Lake Como in Italy, a week later I was flying for the first time in an autogyro, what a feeling!
In January 2009 I organised a short flight with my parents in a small plane to celebrate their birthdays in Turin where they live. While we were flying I felt my heart beating faster and faster and I thought that I would really like to fly with my father, who is an aeronautical engineer, one day, but as a pilot instead of as a passenger.
In June 2009 I saw a glider doing aerobatics at an air show in Turin and my jaw dropped and I thought: “That’s what I want, period!” Two days later I had a trial flight in a glider and really fell in love with it!
A week later, while I was holidaying in Sardinia, I decided to go for a half an hour ‘s flight with a small plane. The panorama over the coast line and the nearby little islands was breathtaking, but after landing, I realised that I had to do it myself next time!
I really wanted flying to become a part of my life, rather than the odd occasion, it meant too much to me!
Since January 2010 I have been a member of the ‘London Gliding Club’ near Dunstable in UK and have been enjoying my passion of all times: flying in the sky!
I used to look at the clouds from the ground, now I look at them from the glider cockpit and it is a whole different perspective, it is like being in heaven!
- What makes your heart beat?
- Are you listening to what your heart is whispering to you?
- If yes, are you taking action?
- You don’t know what this thing, whatever it might be, is going to do to you, until you do it!
- Don’t postpone it, even if you take only a tiny baby step towards it, you will feel better, life will have a whole different meaning and your heart will thank you time and time again!
- It is never too late to go for it!
- Your heart is waiting to be listened to …
- Love yourself and enjoy the journey!

This can trigger physical problems like PMS, cravings, mood swings, weight gain, low self esteem, lack of energy/libido, direction and cause relationship issues. In fact, our body is trying to get in contact with us through these symptoms which can create mental and emotional states that can be very challenging to say the least.
Gabriella has a solution for all these problems and helps women to reconnect with their body and feminine cycle to improve the quality of their lives.
