Live Your Own Life

It really doesn’t matter how or where or when you’re born; or how, or where or when you die. All that counts is what you do with the time in between the moment you gasp your first breath and the moment you release your last.

Once we get through childhood, most of us go through our allotted time in these finite and relatively frail bodies focused on what is not right, with the world in general and within our own lives.

We suppress our natural curiosity, joy and sense of wonder and become bogged down and immersed in the business of living. In the process, we bury the spark of divine light we carried into this world and wonder why we always feel there’s something missing!

The truth is, nothing is missing and you are perfect as you are.

Maybe it’s buried so deep under years of pain and denial that you’ve forgotten it ever existed, but you are still carrying within you the innate potential to be, do and have all your heart desires.

Every one of us is born programmed for success, with unique talents and with the ability to shine, but we get sidetracked by circumstances.

  • What do you love to do?
  • What makes you lose track of time?
  • What would you gladly do without being paid?
  • What floats your boat, rings your bell and makes your heart sing?

Life’s too short to be miserable!

In 2015, I set up Horses Connect, a non-profit company based in the West of Ireland dedicated to helping people of all ages, with all kinds of life and other challenges.  After a colorful and adventurous life (career-wise)  I now work with people and horses. I teach and I learn – boy, do I learn!

Horses connect us to our true value and full potential in a unique and powerful way and it is my privilege to facilitate that connection. We design a range of equine-assisted programs for individuals and groups, and our equine team help us deliver those programs.

I am particularly interested in personal development and was blogging about the topic long before blogging became popular, or profitable.

I have a Masters in Writing from NUI, Galway and tons of other random qualifications.
