Life As We Know It

Pretend it’s your last day on Earth in life as we know it.

Some of you will shout, “Thank God!” Some of you may cry…

But here’s what I want you to do, right now. Make your mental list of what you would do.

Pretend it really is your last day on Earth as we know it.

I know what you would do…you would do as many things as possible that bring you joy.

  • You’d laugh with your kids.
  • You’d spend some time in nature.
  • You’d call your friends and family.
  • You’d eat whatever you want.

So today, do those things. Make that phone call you’ve been putting off. Apologize for the stupid thing you said or did 10 years ago. Hug your partner and tell them you love them just the way they are. Stop beating yourself up for whatever it is you think you’re not good enough at.

Pick up trash in the neighborhood. Feed the birds. Visit your grandmother in the nursing home you haven’t seen in a year.

Make your list and go do some of them today. I am.

The world will thank you for it.

I’ll let you in on a little secret…the world IS ending as we know it, and you are helping it become its newest and brightest version.

Congratulations!!

Live in love,
Carrie
