Karma, the Relentless Equalizer
There is no doubt in my entire being that most of us on this planet are working off incurred negative karma, in one way or another. If we are not resolving such karma, it will follow us through multiple lifetimes until the price of that incurred karma is paid in full.
I understand that when people are born deformed, or with some form of handicap, most are suffering from incurred Karma of actions they performed in previous lives. The net result is that they are paying back a debt they, themselves, created, and until they learn their respective Life Lesson, such suffering will continue into successive lives. There are no innocent sufferers, who have randomly been subjected to any particular form of suffering. This is why it is quite important to understand the mechanics of Karma, together with re-incarnation. Two subjects many people reject out of hand because they do not have sufficient proof, neither do they do anything pro-active to seek such proof. Having said that, it is also interesting to note, that while people do not have proof that re-incarnation and karma exist, neither do they have proof that they do not! In this sense, their opinion is borne of emotion and belief, rather that fact. The net result is that people suffer, and they know not why. Very sad. It is sad, because without any conscious awareness of the possibilities, the required Life Lesson may not be learned, and the unpaid Karmic debt will continue into the next life, when that person will ask, “What did I do to deserve this suffering?” The truth is that such suffering will continue until that person learns what they came here, to Planet Earth to learn.
I further understand that if one refuses to learn the Karmic Lesson, they re-incarnate with additional handicaps. In other words, the process gets increasingly more challenging, and this is why so many people suffer so much. I can, most certainly, attest to this, as I have been working off enormous karma from the lives when I was a warrior and did things that I am not proud of. I am still working through such Karma, even though I have, and continue to devote my entire life to expanding my conscious awareness and raising my consciousness as much as I am able to do so. I have also consciously chosen to be of service to others, which I have done for most of my life, especially when I had my healing practices. I am sure this does mitigate some of the Karma I incurred, for which I am grateful.
Interestingly enough, you will find many people who suffer the most dreadful handicaps, and who devote their lives to the inspiration and well-being of others. This is a major means by which Karma is satisfied. I refer to Nick Vujicic, the Australian who was born without arms or legs, and travels the world inspiring school children and adults to be all they can be. Nick is one of my main heroes, and I just love the work he does, in spite of his limitations, which do not limit him. He is a valiant soul successfully working off some pretty devastating Karma, in my opinion.
When a man rapes a woman, you can be sure that man will be raped by another or maybe, more than one person. When a man rapes a child, you can sure he will re-incarnate and be raped as a child. The Life Lesson is to also know what the ‘victim’ feels like, although there are no real victims, but this is a philosophical discussion to be conducted another time and place. In fact, I do understand that when somebody dies (leaves the body) the soul goes to that place where souls congregate, and has a Life Review. Such a Life Review is like watching a movie of your previous life, with a major difference: You feel what you felt at each moment, and you feel what those you harmed felt in each moment. The very same experience is provided for all the positive acts one has performed, and one feels the same emotion of the happy recipients of your benevolence.
All conscious awareness of all the harm we have done to others, whether consciously or unconsciously, is a very powerful shock to the Soul’s nervous system, and such helps to prepare that soul for the next re-incarnation, after that soul has been to school, to learn a better way to behave when that soul re-incarnates. Unfortunately, upon re-incarnating there is some form of amnesia of Self, but if the Life Lessons were well learned they will be cognized somehow. Maybe, this can occur at the moment a similar situation presents itself, that was experienced in the previous life, and created the Karmic Debt. The truth is that Karma Equalises everything, and there is no escape, other than the following;
- Tediously working through the Karma, blow by blow.
- Working through the Karma with Remorse and Forgiveness of Self.
- Improving Oneself, by raising consciousness.
- Healing, resolving the imbalance that caused the Karma in the first place.
- Being sure not to create any new negative Karma.
- Being of service to others.
Of course, when we re-incarnate we are struck with Soul Amnesia, and we forget who we are, and it is as if we are to live and learn our Life Lessons without knowing what they are, and without knowing what the answer is. This means we are to learn about life without any prior knowledge, which would detract from learning any Life Lesson. Indeed, the Divine Source of All has thought of everything because that is what everything is.
With this knowledge Karma can be such an excellent deterrent against any crime and any form of negative, life damaging behavior. However, the big problem is that many people just do not have the conscious awareness to understand this, and this is why living in this three-dimensional reality with a mixed bag of Soul Age Groups, with different levels of consciousness can be so challenging. Therefore, the necessary ingredient is the ability to expand one’s Conscious Awareness, and to do that, we are to raise our Consciousness, which, unfortunately, far too many people just do not understand at all. This is when the job of helping people to help themselves improve becomes a non-starter. That is because such people are not aware that they are out of balance, that they may have a problem, an issue, a challenge. They are unaware that they have adopted negative, limiting beliefs and patterns of behavior which are learned, and so can be changed for that which is life supporting. However, they do not see the necessity or the requirement to change themselves for the better. They are content to remain as they are.
Nevertheless, with or without their conscious awareness, the Universal Law of Karma will guide them along the path of personal growth, even if it is painful while in the process.
Here is an exercise that amply describes that which is ordinarily indescribable. I would like to describe in more detail what Expanded Conscious Awareness is and what Consciousness is.
Please stand with your nose against a wall. You will see the wall, and your perception of the wall is about 12 inches/30cm horizontally, and about 8 inches/20cm vertically. This represents your conscious awareness of the wall. Now, take one step backwards, which is akin to raising your consciousness, and then, your perception of the wall increases exponentially.
Your Conscious Awareness is totally dependent upon your level of Consciousness!
Some further research reveals that some regard Karma as the Wheel of Destiny, whereby, any unresolved Karma will always return as the Wheel of Life turns. I also understand that, in India there are three distinct types of karma;
- Sanchitta
This is accumulated actions of the past, or of past lives. This can also be karma waiting for the opportune moment to teach the required Life Lesson. Therefore, Sanchitta is the repository of every action you have ever done, in all the lifetimes you have ever lived. These are all of the unresolved past actions waiting for resolution.
- Parabda
This is the Karma created by present action in the now moment, including what you have thought, spoken and deed performed in this lifetime.
- Agami
This is Karma to be resolved, that will be waiting for you in your future, that you created in this lifetime. It is quite common that as we attempt to resolve past karma, we can unavoidably create new karma that you may or may not be able to resolve in your present life. Any and all unresolved Karma will be recorded for you to resolve it in a future life. Like I previously wrote, there is no escape.
This is how the Wheel of Karma turns, creating experiences for soul growth, some good, some bad, but nothing is ever left unresolved, even if it takes several lifetimes.
