Climb Those Stairs!

I hear many people saying that they want a single-story house so they won’t have to climb stairs. This is a big mistake. Climb those stairs! Climb those stairs a dozen times a day! Those stairs are the best free medical insurance that you have. Rather then look at climbing stairs as a tedious effort, say to yourself “I am so blessed to have this free exercise equipment.”

If your weight is a problem, take off some of those pounds. But keep climbing those stairs. As long as you’re able to go up and down the stairs a dozen times a day, you’re in good shape. Those stairs are one of your best friends. If you go to a nursing home you’ll see hundreds of people with wheelchairs and walkers. I can guarantee you that most of them avoided climbing stairs. Don’t set yourself up for leg problems. You know the old saying “use it or lose it.”
