Arthritis – The Rust in Your Joints!

John OsborneWhat Is It and How Can you Get Rid of it.

Arthritis is probably one of the commonest diseases that afflicts both male and female members of the family of all ages. It can be identified by swelling and or stiffness of the joint, loss of mobility and, of course, pain. As an engineer at heart, looking at the body as the wonderful machine that it is, I compare it to the poor thing rusting! For when rust gets into any moving part it seizes it; the machine heats up and makes horrible noises. Similarly when the tiny fragments of dead protein get into the joints, they grate causing your body to do exactly the same. But what are these fragments of dead protein that are known as arthritis? They are bits of cartilage that protect the bone ends, tiny chips off the bone itself and tendon and muscle which collect in the joint space so that every time that joint moves, it grates; this causes the pain and inflammation.  So what can you do to try to avoid it? And as ever, diet is the first port of call.

There are many things you should avoid if possible, bearing in mind that life is for living, not avoiding! But starchy foods, such as pastry and pastas, white vegetables too, are causes of arthritis. Eat instead as many of the coloured fruits and vegetables as you can; use good natural oils such as sunflower, virgin olive and other non GM non chemical cooking media and eat what is known as The GI Diet – GI for Glycemic Index. The best way to describe it is a Mediterranean Diet; the pleasures of lots of fresh produce; avoid all “farmed” food such as farmed fish. Try to get meat from a good butcher, not a supermarket, where it is almost certainly well laden with chemicals, and last but not least, avoid manufactured foods at all costs. They are full of illness inducing chemicals. And if you have arthritis in any of its varied forms – there are reckoned to be over 100 – can you get rid of it?

And the answer to that, for the majority of us, is YES!  Most types of arthritic pain can be dealt with. Start off with the diet as described above. Then look to natural remedies which can do what the chemical products that come from the doctor or chemist cannot; and that is dissolve the cause of the pain.  Just after the Second World War a German physician, Dr. Hans Neiper, whose interest was involved with things like blood clots and cholesterol blocked arteries, came up with the idea that as the silkworm dissolves its cocoon in seconds, there is something there worth looking at. The cocoon is dead protein; he decided that as the body has this, it might work there as it does for the ugly little silk worm. He separated out the enzyme that does the work, the Serrapeptase enzyme, gave it to his patients and Bingo!, their blood clots and blocked arteries were cleared.

With the benefits of modern science we now have Serrapeptase enzymes that can and do remove any form of dead protein from the body; and arthritis is caused by dead protein. At the same time try to boost your immune system by the taking of a pure 99,97% Curcumin. (There is much publicity about curcuma; that is turmeric which is in most kitchen spice racks; it does little or nothing for your health unless your family has history of eating curried meals over many generations.) A daily dose of a couple of capsules of this will help enormously – and it costs just pennies.

And remember, a good exercise regime, especially swimming, weight control suitable for your age and height, the avoidance of chemical pain killers which have more adverse effects than benefits by replacing them with such as Devil’s Claw, and accepting that when the pain is bad, give those joints a bit of well deserved rest.

Common sense should be used as well; but if any help or advice is required, the writer can be contacted through his website.
