Namaste

Julia ChiAs Anadi and I travel the globe we meet different people all the time; on planes and trains… On buses and at the car hire desks…
In queues and in shops, and out on the running track…

Everywhere we turn, there are hundreds and hundreds of souls… Whilst we sit at airports, and on boats, bobbing on the waves to different islands in the sun …

When we drink coffee in a busy town, stay the night in an hotel…

We encounter more people, different beings…. In a busy restaurant, whilst queuing to check bags in…
More people, all crowded together….
Believing they are separate…
Sometimes these folk are being kind and courteous, sometimes taking no notice of one another…
Sometimes rude and unkind….
Believing they are separate

‘Namaste’
I honour the part of you, that is the part of me…

I loved it when we journeyed in Thailand, every person we saw, put their hands together in this greeting…
‘Namaste’
‘You and I are one.
And so it is….

Where did our illusion of separateness take such a hold?
In all scriptures and spiritual teachings we are reminded that we are all from one source, and we are all returning to this source…

That we are love, we are pure consciousness…

That we are spiritual beings on a human journey, and that this body is but a suit of clothes which we will shed one day, and return to spirit…
A journey lived, energy transmuted, transformed; or maybe remained stagnant and stuck as we repeat patterns and feel the pain we cannot escape from…

But we have journeyed none the less and returned to the place where we know that separation is an illusion, and that this earthly journey is a wonderful opportunity for clearing any energy that is keeping us stuck; or that we need to experience, witness in action, live something out to understand it…
Consciousness experiencing itself.
Planet earth is a crucible for seeing what needs addressing and clearing, and for ultimately learning how to live as human beings, the truth….
That we are one, that we are not separate, that love is the natural state, conflict the aberration…

Namaste…
You and I are one.

I have been running all of my life – it feels I was born to run. In the running step I experienced freedom and my true expression. I came to see that I needed to ‘get out of the way of myself’ and let my energy flow through the running step; allow it to express itself in the dance and the motion of running.  I ran for England and GB for some years. My first international was in 1979, a three mile cross country race; and I continued to run at international level until 1993. Two of my best results were first place in the Dublin City Marathon in 1985 and 7th place woman, 3rd British woman in the 1986 London Marathon in a time of 2.36.31, which gained me selection for the Commonwealth Games.
