August and October – The Star
The energy of the cards that have been duplicated over the past couple of months is about having hope and faith in the midst of difficulties and the ability to keep positive despite what might have been happening. Also the energy and enthusiasm for new ventures – wanting to go out and conquer the world, rather than sitting back and waiting for opportunities to come to us! Another thing that I find very interesting is that three of the Queens have turned up for the very first time – love, imagination and material goods are covered by them. The feminine energy is showing itself in a very profound, powerful and nurturing way.
As we start off this month we would be wise to focus on our homes and the people that we care the most about. We will be needed to offer comfort and support and to enable people to feel safe in our presence. Whether we are male or female, the Earth Mother energy is needed at this time.
During the first part of October we really need to lighten up, not take ourselves so seriously and have some fun. Even if it’s not possible to go into full on party mode, try to spend some time with good friends – people who make us laugh and forget our troubles, even for a short period of time. Laughter is good for the soul, as it’s often said, and it is sorely needed right now. The ensuing lightness of spirit will enable us to grasp opportunities due to the increase in our energy, and will make us want to go out and find new adventures. If we don’t learn to lighten up – whatever the circumstances – we are in danger of sinking into the doldrums and not having the energy to even get out of bed. Humour and looking for the best in people and situations is really important.
As we approach the middle of October it will be necessary to keep hope and faith in the midst of any difficulties we might be experiencing. Don’t forget that like attracts like, and if we are miserable and depressed, then we will attract more things that will make us feel even worse. This month is turning out to be a month of looking on the bright side, or digging far enough to unearth it. I am being really pushed to emphasise that buying into all the misery and bad news that is fed us every day will serve no good purpose – even more than usual. In doing so, we will overlook great opportunities for growth and will dampen our creativity and imagination, which can lead us to a much better life situation. If we can remain optimistic, then the creativity of our imagination will take flight and we’ll be full of enthusiasm for new ventures – whether we know where they are likely to lead or not!
During the last part of October we will be faced with some decisions. We will really need to pay good attention to our choices, as other people are likely to be affected by them. Mature and well considered decisions need to be made. It would be wise not to discuss these with people that don’t need to know. Only talk to the people who can actually help us make those decisions. Telling all and sundry will only muddy the waters and we could end up not knowing what to do for the best. It is also advisable to stay away from gossipy people – we don’t want our business spread everywhere before we have decided what we actually want to do. That would only bring added pressure.
As we come to the end of the month, we will realise that there will be some situations and/or people we need to walk away from. We will feel like we’ve given 100% to them and we can’t give any more – therefore, it would be advisable to walk away and begin again if necessary. Most of us will have had enough by then.
Our luck for October is holding on to our dreams and visions and not allowing anyone to side track us and park us in some layby or other. Our dreams are valid and true for us – nobody else can feel or understand them the way we do, therefore nobody else should be given the power to tell us to forget them. We need to be true to ourselves and by walking our talk and looking on the bright side, October will be an easier month.
