Bodhisattva Conversations with… Jo Taylor (Podcast)
Jo Taylor is a real tour de Force….
In this podcast she talks about her life full of adventure and her decision at 16 years old not to have children which leant itself to a different life path….
When I met her in 1985 she had already run 4 marathons with a personal best of 3.18.
She arrived in the City of Bath, and set up a fabulous running store called Running Free which became a hub for runners to meet and chat running!
She also became a Reebok big Sister, starting a ‘Sisters running group that just grew and grew!
She had already started a running group in Holland called ‘Hague road Runners’ which is still vey much in action today.
69 years old this year she has retired to France with her husband Neil where she is walking, cycling, running, canoeing, hiking, teaching English and generally still living life to the full!
I have been running all of my life – it feels I was born to run. In the running step I experienced freedom and my true expression. I came to see that I needed to ‘get out of the way of myself’ and let my energy flow through the running step; allow it to express itself in the dance and the motion of running.
I have also worked in the lives of others as a guide, counsellor, healer and teacher for over 40 years.
I lived as a nomad for 6 years with my husband Anadi, but my inner voice brought me back to the UK in May 2019 and I have been living and working and running in London since then….
